Event Details
From the unique vantage point of The Music Works overlooking Kings Square and the Debenham’s site, this exhibit traces the evolution of the building from Bon Marche department store, through to the takeover by Debenhams in the 1970s, and recent acquisition by the University of Gloucestershire as the planned new City Campus. The building has ties to the long history of Gloucester as a centre of trade and commerce, and the exhibition explores links with the local community.
No booking required – free admission.
The Music Works is on the top floor – the entrance to the building is to the right of Wetherspoons – ring the bell for entry, and take the lift or stairs to the top floor
